Salesforce — How to Install

Step-by-step guide to install the Alysio app and connect Alysio to Salesforce.

Connecting Alysio to Salesforce

To provide a secure and reliable integration, Alysio uses Salesforce’s External Client App (ECA) standards. This requires a one-time setup by a Salesforce administrator before users can authorize the integration. Once installed, users can connect their Salesforce accounts directly from Alysio.

Prerequisites

Before beginning installation, ensure the following requirements are met. You have System Administrator permissions in your Salesforce org.
You know whether you are connecting to a Production or Sandbox environment.

Step 1 — Install the Alysio Managed Package

Salesforce requires integrations to be installed in the organization before users can authorize them.
  1. Log in to your Salesforce organization.
  2. Open the installation link below or send it to your Salesforce administrator.
Production installation link https://login.salesforce.com/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04tg50000002Ld3AAE If installing in a sandbox environment, replace login with test in the URL. Example https://test.salesforce.com/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04tg50000002Ld3AAE
  1. Choose Install for All Users (recommended).
This allows your team to connect without additional admin configuration.
  2. Click Install.
  3. If prompted with Approve Third-Party Access, select
Yes, grant access to these third-party websites and click Continue.
  4. Wait for the installation to complete, then click Done.
Your Salesforce organization is now prepared to connect with Alysio.

Step 2 — Authorize the Salesforce Connection

Once the managed package is installed, complete the connection inside Alysio.
  1. Open Alysio.
  2. Navigate to Settings → Integrations.
  3. Select Salesforce.
  4. Choose the correct environment:
    • Production
    • Sandbox
  5. Click Connect.
  6. A Salesforce login window will appear. Sign in using your Salesforce credentials.
  7. When prompted with the Allow Access screen, click Allow.
Your Salesforce account is now connected to Alysio.

Troubleshooting

Configure User Permissions (if needed)

If Salesforce blocks the OAuth connection or users cannot authorize the integration, you may need to grant the Approve Uninstalled Connected Apps permission.
  1. Go to Setup → Users → Permission Sets.
  2. Click New and create a permission set named Alysio Integration.
  3. Open the permission set and navigate to System Permissions → Edit.
  4. Enable Approve Uninstalled Connected Apps.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Click Manage Assignments and assign the permission set to users who need to connect Salesforce to Alysio.
This permission ensures Salesforce’s security policies do not block the OAuth authorization flow.

OAuth Error: “This app is not installed in your org”

This error usually means the managed package installation was skipped or installed in the wrong environment. Solution Confirm the package exists under Setup → Installed Packages If you are connecting to Production, ensure the package was installed in Production.
If you are connecting to Sandbox, ensure the package was installed in Sandbox.
